Baseball swing analysis from the clip you already have.

Send one swing from any modern phone and get back the whole mechanical picture: the hips to trunk to hands sequence, contact position, weight transfer, timing to the zone, and bat path when the barrel is clearly trackable. No markers, no sensors on the bat, no lab.

Baseball Swing Analysis From Your Own Video
01

What a breakdown returns.

Pose estimation tracks 33 body landmarks in every frame. From those the engine computes a complete mechanical profile, deterministically: the same clip always produces the same numbers.

MeasurementDetail
Swing sequenceWhether the hips peak before the trunk, and the trunk before the hands, with the hip to hand lag in frames and milliseconds.
Contact positionLead elbow extension, rear elbow angle, trunk tilt, and whether the hitter stayed behind the ball.
Weight transferForward hip travel as a share of standing height, front leg brace angle, and posture change from load to contact.
Timing and quicknessFoot down to contact in seconds, and whether hand speed rises as a step or a ramp.
Motion phasesLoad, drive, contact, deceleration, and finish, detected automatically with timing precise to the frame.
Bat path, when trackableBarrel path length, swing plane estimate, bat speed proxy, and bat tilt at contact. Absent rather than guessed when the barrel cannot be tracked.

Every number ships with its basis landmarks and a confidence value. Anything the engine cannot measure confidently is absent, not estimated. That policy is the product.

02

How it works.

01

Film one swing

From the side, whole body in frame, 120 frames per second or slow motion mode, clean background. One swing per clip where you can.

02

Upload it

One to thirty seconds is plenty. Your video stays on the server, and only numeric metrics reach the feedback layer.

03

Read the findings

Qualitative reads per area, a summary, and up to three priorities, each paired with a named drill and a cue. No score, because a single number never told anyone what to fix.

04

Re test later

Log a real outcome weeks later and see whether the work moved the needle, on the same baseline as the first session.

03

Why there is no score.

We measured youth players and professionals on the same day and the numeric scores did not separate them. Every report read the same. So the score came out, and what replaced it is a set of honest reads: strength, solid, work on, or estimate, plus the three things worth fixing first. A hitter does not need a 74 out of 100. They need to know that the hands are leaving early and which drill fixes it.

The other half of the picture is the part the video cannot see. Exit velocity, bat speed off a sensor, and pitch recognition come from your staff and your equipment. Type them into the report and they travel with it, so the mechanical read and the outcome sit side by side over a season.

Send a swing and judge it on your own hitter.

One cage clip, full breakdown back. No commitment, and you will see exactly what the engine measures and what it refuses to guess.

Common questions.

How do you analyze a baseball swing?
Film one swing from the side with the whole body in frame, then measure the sequence rather than the pose. The order the hips, trunk, and hands reach top speed tells you more than any still frame. From there check contact position, forward weight transfer, front leg brace, and time from foot down to contact.
Do I need special equipment for swing analysis?
No. A modern phone shooting at 120 frames per second is enough for everything on this page. Bat sensors and launch monitors measure different things, the bat and the ball, and are useful alongside a mechanical read rather than instead of one.
Can an app measure bat speed from video?
A 2D estimate is possible when the barrel is clearly trackable, and we report it as a low confidence estimate with a confidence value attached. It is not equivalent to a sensor reading, and any tool presenting a video derived bat speed as a precise measurement is overstating what one camera can do.
What is the best angle to film a swing?
Side on, perpendicular to the swing plane, with the whole body in frame from feet to head and a clean background. Keep the camera still and in the same position each session so you are comparing like for like over time.
How long does an analysis take?
Minutes for a clip of one to thirty seconds. The result includes the mechanical reads, a summary, and up to three priorities with a drill and cue attached to each.
